unfortunately the niners lost, but at the same time we were the city across the board both sfpd and other departments and ourselves were out there. people were deployed just to make sure that if the niners did win and the revelery got out of hand, it would be contained. there was no revelery, so it went off pretty great. just as the game ended, we did have a moment about 20 minutes, maybe half an hour where we did get a lot of calls to service. and some incidents, but again, nothing too major. they were actually pretty minor and it quieted off very quickly. bad news is the niners lost. the good news is we didn't have any major incidents that day connected to the game or so forth. even though -- and overall, as we tour the city, a lot of bars were -- some were very busy, but a lot were not. i think a lot of people ended up staying home to watch the game. so, there is definitely a bump in business for a lot of places on their normal sunday, but at the same time we only ran into maybe three or four real overcrowding issues, which when you think about it, we expected it to be much worse. so,

it's just going to be different than densely packed city blocks in the financial district or in even the area south of market which are longer blocks, but they're still pretty densely packed with previous industrial buildings. and it's going to have more of a separation. it's going to have more parking. it's going to have a lot of things that are, you know, but i think there are some very successful suburban parks and some that aren't very successful. i mentioned to bo earlier, the hacienda park in pleasanton, if you've seen the architecture, smooth looking buildings and very well landscaped as opposed to some that are not at all very well done. so, i know you've all driven around to these various places and seen what works and what doesn't so i would encourage you to look at others and try to take some of the best elements out so that maybe your buildings stand out a little bit from some of the existing buildings in mission bay, being a little more distinctive looking, perhaps having some other features in them. >> commissioner borden. >> [inaudible]. >> second. >> and instruct staf

be other clean up events throughout the city. thank you. >> i just would like to, announce that commissioner fewer and i, vice president fewer and i were at the perfect attendance celebration last saturday at brett heart elementary school. the foundation puts on a wonderful, wonderful event and they had floors and they had lunch for everybody. the students all got a medal. and it was really a wonderful celebration and my thanks to the foundation for putting on, or helping us to put on such a wonderful event and also, just to on the giant's clean sweep. i just want to thank the mayers and the giants for including the students as part of the team and i think that this is going to be a fun activity for them this year and there is a lot of opportunities to both do the art projects and creative things around the clean up and litter but also to actually volunteer in their neighborhoods. so, thank you. to them. and vice president fewer? >> thank you. >> i just wanted to congratulate the san francisco pta on another founder's day dinner
